Cookie Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 3 cups flour (whole wheat works well)
- 3 cups rolled oats (regular or quick)
- 1 cup butter
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla, eggs, salt, baking soda, and peanut butter.
- Add flour and oats.
- Spread in 1 ungreased cookie sheet (jelly roll size) and 1 9x13 pan, or in 3 9x13 pans. Bake 20 minutes; let cool completely.
- Melt butter. Add cocoa and powdered sugar.
- Add vanilla and milk. Add more powdered sugar or milk if necessary.
